Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations for general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Streamline internal financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial forecasting and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
