Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with executive-level analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct comprehensive audits and ensure compliance with SEC regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
