Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Lead internal and external audit coordination, preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on accounting standards and software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
