Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse industry clients
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Maintain detailed general ledger with accurate reconciliations
- Supervise junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail-oriented mindset
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
