Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal control procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting efficiency
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities for presenting complex financial data
