Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
