Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Manage complex accounting operations including intercompany transactions and consolidation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and month-end close processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial information
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
