Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements & compliance reports
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Develop tax strategies and ensure adherence to GAAP/IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise accounting operations
- Present financial insights to client stakeholders during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization
