Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and system implementations
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Support annual audits and tax preparation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
