Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- CPA certification or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and meet deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders
