Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to inform strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and state-specific regulations
- Analyze financial data trends and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain and optimize internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of California and Florida tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
