Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Lead special projects such as audits, tax filings, and system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders
- Proven experience managing accounting teams or mentoring junior staff
