Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online/Xero)
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasting for leadership decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with SaaS or fintech companies
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or advanced certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies
