Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations across diverse industries
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliation of bank accounts
- Implement and optimize accounting software solutions (QuickBooks Online)
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season preparations
- Manage vendor relationships and expense reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with SaaS/tech clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Strong understanding of sales tax nexus and multi-state compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance mindset
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
