Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax filings
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and expense tracking
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven track record of month-end closing processes
- Expertise in sales tax compliance and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
