Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for leadership
- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain internal controls documentation
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Optimize financial systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Proven expertise in month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- SOX compliance experience essential
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
