Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and financial reporting
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
- Analyze financial data to support executive decision-making and strategic planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and treasury management functions
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- CPA certification or actively pursuing with exam completion
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP financial modules
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience in financial services or public accounting preferred
