Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for external auditors.
- Conduct research on accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Candidate for CPA certification or completion of 150 credit hours is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
