Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare month-end/year-end closing procedures and support audits
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance regulations
