Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with month-end close responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead internal audit processes and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio companies
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, tax planning, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in financial reporting and audit management
