Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for California-based clients
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct financial audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax department on compliance matters
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of California tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Experience with multi-state financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities
