Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial findings to stakeholders.
