Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives to enhance financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with federal and state tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies
- Develop and implement automated accounting workflows to improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
