Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations with precision
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and maintain compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP proficiency
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Sage 100, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record in financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial insights for stakeholders
