Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Lead preparation and analysis of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement SOX compliance measures
- Develop and optimize financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and filing deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA designation required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Proven track record in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing cross-functional financial projects
