Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to budget and forecast financial performance.
- Process payroll and manage bank reconciliations accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
