Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in high-volume environments
