Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate account reconciliation.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and tax filings.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
