Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and operational reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, GAAP, and internal financial policies.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Implement and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
