Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes with 100% accuracy
- Prepare complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage audit coordination and SOX compliance documentation
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable business insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and process improvements
- Develop financial models for strategic planning initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- ERP system proficiency (Oracle NetSuite or SAP experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of process optimization
