Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Lead the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly and payments are made on schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during year-end audits and tax filings.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations, internal controls, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
