Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with the tax department to ensure all tax filings are accurate and filed on time.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
