Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
