Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Lead external audit coordination and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data
