Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with general ledger.
- Process payroll for night shift employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both digital and physical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
