Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain internal controls and audit readiness documentation
- Lead accounts reconciliation for multi-entity operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
