Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee budget forecasting and variance analysis for departmental operations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with audit teams and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA macros)
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ohio CPA license required
