Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable functions with multi-currency transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and financial performance reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
