Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Lead process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
