Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 corporate clients, including month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and implement process improvements
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks Online and Sage 50 accounting systems
- Lead cross-departmental financial analysis projects for strategic decision support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate practice
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, FASB standards, and tax compliance regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
