Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific PA tax codes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated knowledge of PA state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
