Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and support external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and federal regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial forecasting and variance analysis to management.
- Process payroll and manage expense reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
