Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff
