Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Optimize accounting workflows using Oracle ERP systems
- Mentor junior accountants on technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with audit preparation and reporting
