Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and SOX compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex concepts clearly
