Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
