Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Nevada tax regulations
