Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and lead the month-end close procedures efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with annual audits and federal/provincial tax preparation.
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting support to senior management.
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
