Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including AR/AP, GL reconciliation, and payroll
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance oversight
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly estimated payments and annual filings
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reconciliations
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage 100 or NetSuite)
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
