Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring timely filing and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain budgets and cash flow forecasts to support strategic business planning.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to internal controls and financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
